As for who they were, I seem to remember Phoebe as a student and Cortez as an investigator of some sort (government or private, can't remember) who meets her. As Diana does so well, she introduced two characters with an immediate attraction to one another that left some of the rest of us waiting for a story on those new characters. Tonia
