: : : What is your opinion of these novels? Are they truly wonderful? Will I be missing out if I don't read them? I ask because everywhere I look they are listed for sale at really high prices. Someone is asking for $55 for Color Love Blue! I'll never pay that, but Dark Surrender is listed for $11 and I'm tempted.

: : The Paperback Price Guide for Romance lists these three books at:
: : Dark Surrender: $13.75
: : Color Love Blue: $41.25
: : White Sand, Wild Sea: $12.75

: : Here's the cover blurb from Color Love Blue:
: : Walking on Fifth Avenue, savoring her success as an artist, Jolana Shannon's head was in the clouds. When she careened into Nick Acarpelli, she knew at once he wasn't the perfect stranger. What had changed her mind - blackmail? His irresistible virility? Surrender was sheer rapture - but a mistake. The arrogant publisher and art gallery owner had other plans. Even as Jolana fled to Paris: married: and traveled to Monaco, Nice, and Cannes, memories of Nick persued her. Then, as quickly as he'd come into her life, her husband - along with the home and fortune he'd gambled away - were gone. Alone, Jolana dared not believe Nick when he swore he'd changed ... when he insisted that Jolana - and the baby she carried - were his...when he painted a glowing picture of the future they could share now - and forever.

: : I own all of Diana's book, except for the elusive 2. Is the book worth almost $50...no, but I found mine UNDER a shelf on the floor in a used book store. Lord knows how long it'd been under there! LOL It looks like brand new and I paid $.25 for it. Don't give up, and don't be forced into paying high prices. Keep looking at your UBS, the local Salvation Army, Friends of the Library sales, garage sales...you'll find it, and the book will be that much sweeter because you DIDN'T cave in and pay the high price. Then it'll feel like a REAL treasure!!!

: She's right, paying that much is kinda silly. My luck would be that if I paid that much, I'd walk into a used store and find it for .50. I did give 7.00 for Dark Surrender, and it's in really good shape, but I guess whether you pay a high price or not is entirely up to you. Depends on how badly you want it. I know when Lawless came out, I hated to pay 25.00 for it, and it took quite a while before I did, but I wanted it so bad. My husband finally just said to hush about the price and get it. I was thrilled, but still regret having paid that much. But I'm a great bargain hunter, so it really rankled (even though a DP is well worth the money!) Good luck, Rorie

The most I have every paid for one of Diana's books was $20 and that was for Color Love Blue and one of the duests and that was about 4 years ago. It just depend's on how bad you want these books. To me all of Diana's books are excellent reads. You may want to check out places like half.com, ebay auction Myunicorn.com, etc... Amy
