"Does anyone have any new questions for Diana?"
If anyone has any new questions to ask Diana just post them here. I posted a message from Diana a few day's ago. She said she is swamped with email's and can't get to them all. She asked that I collect every one's questions and forward them to her and she will answer them that way. She said she was sorry she could not get to all her emails. Printer-friendly page | Top

Comment to DP:Just got your hardback "HEARTLESS" from Harlequin Reader Service delivered today and was so happy that the dedication was to the ART department for making the covers of your books so great...I AGREE!!!!!. I know they must have been delighted to receive your much appreciated comments.
When I get a hardback...have to get the paperback when released too.

Yep, got yesterday I know others that have ordered from Amazon will get later and those who ordered from Harlequin Reader Service have been given different answers in trying to order.
Hope you get your copy sooner then later!

I don't have a question, but I would like Diana to know how much I love her books and thank her for the many hours of enjoyment and relaxation they have given me. I don't have all of her books yet but I am working on it. I believe I have read them all at least twice except for Heart Of Stone and Callaghan's Bride, these I have read at least five times. Two of my favorites. I can't wait for whatever you have coming out next. I hope your health has improved and that you are enjoying your new grandchild. May God Bless You.

Amy, I've just re-read Eye of the Tiger... another great stand alone. Could you ask Ms Palmer if she has any more stand alones in the pipeline.... or even a story about Wade Granger (better late than never x Cath.

I have a question for Diana. She has said before that its only when i character shouts at her that she hears them. What is it that first gets her attention about a new character? and does she take them as they first appear or knocks off the rough edges first before they appear in a story?

I have a question for her... Do you realize Diana that we have a proverbial skillet that we all share here on the board and use when one of her male characters needs a good wallup upside the head?

I was wandering if Grange from Heartbeaker was going to be getting his own story in the future? And also if that is his first or last name, I can't remember if it said in the book? I think that he would have a very interesting story to be told.Thanks,

I have a couple questions. 1. Do you ever base your characters off people you meet?
2. I can't remember the guys name in Diamond in the Rough who was hanging out with Sassy and he was in love with his best friend's girl but is he going to get a story? (Can someone fill in the blank I can't remember his name)

Thanks for allowing us the questions, Amy. Mine are:
I love your stand alone books (cattleman's choice, rawhide man, eye of the tiger, after the music, etc) - will there be more like this?
I love the historicals - especially Noelle - they are so well researched and the longer length is very satisfying. Will there be more? There was a hint at the end of Big John Jacobs book...

We all LOOOVE her books, and can not wait until they come out. And we want them yesterday. So, I ask: What author or authors are the same for her?
What is her favorite book?
Does she have a book or books, that she reads over and over again?

Is there going to be a book about Jeremiah Cortez's cousin Tina with the Police officer (I can't remember his name but Phoebe thought was over used)? Will there be a book about Tippy's little brother?

I know an author waits to 'hear' a character talk so a story can flesh itself out. Yet, some characters don't really have much to say...the strong, silent type...and their stories cannot really make a complete novel. There are quite a few that just have enough to satisfy that special tastebud...AKA Colton Banks, the Hart brothers' cousin who had a secret crush on Meredith Hart's dead brother's fiancee. Have you thought about some of characters just be written into novella form...like you did with Curtis Russell in 'Garden Cop' and Tony the Dancer?
Personally, I would love to see you write a collection of short stories about many of the characters who will not get a complete novel.
Thank you for everything you have written. Your stories are very enjoyable and just the relief I treasure after a long week teaching!
