"chemo and radiation"
 
   bjcooper My husband starts his chemo and radiation treatments this afternoon.He's still very tender from the surgery last week,but his cancer doctor called him yesterday and told him he wants to get started.I'm nervous but glad.I want to see this cancer gone.

   bjcooper So far so good.He has to do the radiation five days a week for the next six weeks,but his next chemo will be dec. 3rd.One very nice thing about being in Palestine for his treatment,we were able to see our first great-grandson.He was born yesterday morning at the hospital in Palestine.Thank you again for your prayers!

   That is some pretty intense radiotherapy. He must be getting sick of eating through a straw.

   bjcooper My husband completed his chemo and radiation treatment yesterday.I'm so glad its over.Now we wait for him to heal from the severe burn left by the radiation.He has lab next week,and sees the doctor in 2 weeks,but they said it would be 6 weeks before they would say that the cancer is gone.I told the doctor yesterday that I know in my heart its gone,he said he believes its gone also,but we'll know in 6 weeks.It wouldn't hurt to have my friends here say a prayer for it to indeed be gone.
