"I'M MOVING"

Hi All,

Wanted to write a quick update. John and I are moving. We FINALLY found a place in Tennessee. Our dream is finally coming true. We'll be renting a 1 bedroom cabin for now until we find something bigger or just may chose to stay there. Great location, great people and a great cabin. A dream come true. We call it our little cabin in the woods. And, the view is breathtaking.

We'll be moving soon....can't be soon enough for either of us!!!! Right now, we'll be getting our ducks in a row.

Trying to figure out what goes, etc.

Wish us luck. Things are finally looking up.

Missy

I hope it all goes as you want. The only bad thing is trying to throws things or keep them. My hubby & I fought more about that then anything when we moved.

Thanks all of you for your kind wishes. We've been going to Tennessee for over 23yrs. together and ALWAYS wanted to move there when the time is right. You know, when the kids were settled, etc. But, we found out along the way the you never know what will happen, so we have to take this opportunity. We're of the generation that took care of our parents and our children and never seem to have "together" time like we used to. We KNOW without a doubt that it's FINALLY our time. If we don't take it now, we may never move!!!! I think Tennessee is a beautiful state. My husband always thought that God made Tennessee first and went from there....he loves it that much. And, my husband is an outdoorsy guy anyway. He has so many plans for the outside. And as far as the inside, we pretty much know exacly what we're taking. We have sooooo many decorations though. We decided that we'll put up what is closest to our hearts first. We have a HUGE crawl space under the cabin....I can stand up in it. The Landlords laid down sheets of visqueen down, so all we have to do is put our things in an airtight container and we'll be fine. Everyone else who lived there did the same and never had a problem. Our Landlords do it themselves. They have a beautiful cabin, but again, Julie (our Landlady) needed extra room herself, so Larry (her husband) fixed both places up so you could store things in the crawl space. It even has a lock on it. We have soooo many ideas about what we want to do to our place and it's so exciting. Our home that we currently live in is almost 100 years old. It is CONSTANT upkeep, with one thing or another. WE ARE DONE with all that. John doesn't work at Jeep anymore (retired), so it's not like we're Mr. and Mrs. moneybags. Our Rent is extremely resonable and it includes ALL utilities. The only thing we have to pay for is our direct TV and I looked into it and it's cheaper than what I pay now by about $65.00. Plus, I get a lot more stations and can use that for my computer.

I'll be posting another message. I'm doing that because this post is a happy one, but the next is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I just have to talk about it and hope no one minds. You guys are great about reading them and making me feel better.

((((hugs to you all)))

Missy

Well, Today, we're cleaning out closests, drawers and getting rid of all the things we accumulated and really don't want. Then, we start with packing the things we want to take put don't use here, IE: our decorations, etc. Those things, for now, we can do without. We have SOOOOO MANY deorations that we decided to take most of them, put up what's closest to our hearts and store the rest. Then, if we get tired of it, we can put up the ones we stored. We've done that here and it works great. Feels like you have something new.

What we need the MOST now is money to move.

wish me luck,

Missy
