"Gone for a few Days"
 
   I wanted to wish all a Great Weekend. I am off for Atlanta, Georgia to visit my son at Georgia Tech university. He isn't going to make it home for Thanksgiving so I am going to spend a long weekend with him. While I am gone, my husband will be coming home from China(he's been gone 5 weeks) so when I get home I will have another surprise.
Have a great weekend all. I will try to touch base when I get home. I have one day to prepare for a trip to New Mexico and hubby's family.

   Well, the Mom time was great. Doug and I visited, shopped, ate and generally had a nice relaxing 3 days together. I went on a tour of all of his classes, the entire University and we walked 2+ miles to Atlantic Station(a shopping area) and shopped for some treats for Doug. Of course, we had to walk back with all our purchases I treated Doug and two of his friends to dinner two nights and then the boys came back to our hotel and enjoyed the indoor pool and watched football with Mom. I was sad to leave my baby at college but, my his is grown up. He looked so mature all dressed in his preppy clothes with his glasses on.

I got in last night and Hubby met me at the airport. I haven't seen him in almost 6 weeks. We are leaving on Wed for New Mexico and his Dad's. I am doing the last minute prep for the trip and lots of laundry.

Have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!
