Calhoun- (1988) Sil. Romance: Calhoun Ballenger - Blond Streaked Brown Hair, Dark Eyes, Tall and Muscular: Abby Clark- Grayish Blue Eyes, Long dark silky Hair, Better than average Figure., Virgin. Abby Was Calhoun and Justin Ballenger’s ward unit she and Calhoun Fell in Love. Abby Mother and Calhoun & Justin’s father were to be married but they will killed in a car accident 2 day’s before they were to be married when Abby was 15 . Abby then became Calhoun & Justin’s Ward. Calhoun was 32 & Abby 19 when they Married. They now have 3 boy’s named Terry, Edd & Matt. Calhoun and Justin (Justin) are brothers. They also own the local Feedlot. *In Cattleman’s Pride* Calhoun is running for Senate. Story Line: Although Calhoun Ballenger had raised Abby since childhood, she was now nearly 21 years old. How dare he keep her under his thumb protected like a hot house flower! Abby had to teach Calhoun a lesson. With the fury of a woman scorned, she devised a plan to prove her independence and capture his attention. But Abbys scheme backfired. She wasn’t like the sophisticates that Calhoun chose as his companions. She was just a simple country girl who craved the love of a good man. How could she make Cal see that she was all grown up and her heart was set on him? 2. Justin- (1988) Sil. Romance -Justin Ballenger - Almost Black Hair, Dark Eyes, Tall Muscular , has a craggy face and a reticent personality. Married to Shelby Jacobs (Shelby has Dark Hair, a elfin face with a odd shade of Green Eyes , almost glassy in color, Tall )( Shelby is sister to Tyler Jacobs (Tyler) and the Grandaughter to Big John & Camilla Jacobs (Founding Father) Shelby and Justin have 3 son’s but I have never found names for them except for one in Founding Father, the oldest is named John Jackson Jacob's Ballanger.Justin Own’s the local Feed Lot with his brother Calhoun (Calhoun)/ Storyline: Sweet dreams had been all that lovely Shelby Jacobs had ever given Justin Ballenger. He’d loved her, wanted to marry her……. And his sweet dreams had blown away. A Ballenger wasn’t good enough for Shelby. She’d broken their engagement and flaunted her rich society lover in Justin’s face. He’d vowed never again to be vulnerable to this beautiful Texas rose. Shelby had never stopped loving dark, intense Justin. Seeing him only deepened her feelings. She was sure he despised her but she knew he needed to hear the truth about the past. She was risking everything, but the heart of her lonesome cowboy was more than worth it.*** I found the name of one of Justin and Shelby’s son’s in founding father . His name is John Jackson Jacobs Ballenger. Tyler- Tyler Jacobs-(1989) Sil Romance- (thick dark hair, almost black, an olive complexion, odd colored green eyes, almost like glass, Big but whipcord Lean & Dangerous Looking, 32 yrs old Tyler is the brother To Shelby Jacobs Ballenger (Tyler) & the Grandson to Big John & Camilla Jacobs (Founding Father). Tyler Married Nell Regan (who is the neice of Ted Regan (Regan’s Pride) & Sandy Regan (LTT Summer) but the relationship was never explained because in RP and in LTT Summer Ted & Sandy were the only Regan siblings mentioned but in Tyler it is said that Nell is Ted’s Neice) Nell has pretty brown eyes, Long Lustrous honey brown hair, shy, 24 years old. Tyler and Nell could not have children but they adopted Five. No mention of the children’s names or Sex. Story line: With only a quick glance at Nell Regan, a man might miss the beauty in the shy face, or the sexy figure hidden beneath the shapeless clothes. Nell had learned the hard way to steer clear of potential heartbreak. Her future was here, running her Arizona ranch….alone, They Tyler Jacobs arrived… a man who knew what it was like to be alone. He yearned to kiss away the pain he saw in Nell’s deep brown eyes. She wasn’t about to mistake kindness for love. Not again. Yet would her own desire destroy her one chance for happiness. Sutton’s Way-(1989) Sil Romance- Quinn Sutton Married Amanda Callaway.. Quinn is described as a Tall wiry rancher, with cold black eyes, amazingly high cheekbones, a broad forehead , jutting chin and Black Hair. Quinn is also good Friend’s with Justin Ballenger (Justin). Amanda Callaway is the lead Singer for the rock band Desperado. (Hank Shoeman is her lead guitar player, Hanks story is Redbird) Amanda has long blond hair and has eyes as black as Quinn’s . Quinn has a son from his first marriage named Elliot (Elliot is actually his step son as his wife was already pregrent and Quinn never touched her but he loved Elliot) Quinn was also a Olympic skier , he skied down the mountain to save Amanda when her plane crashed. **Note** Quinn was also a virgin on his wedding night to Amanda. Quinn and Amanda had a son named Carlton Wayne Sutton Storyline: Tragedy had sent music superstar Amanda Callaway to the Wyoming mountains to heal. What she found was another battle to fight… Quinn Sutton. Snowbound at his ranch, Amanda was glad Quinn was not aware of her real identity. With a huge chip on his shoulder, the rugged mountain man had no use for the opposite sex especially city women who ran life in the fast lane. But what Quinn didn’t realize was how special his world seemed to Amanda. Battling his misconception of her she vowed to prove she shared the same old-fashioned values… and desires. When he learned who she was , though, would she lose him forever. Ethan-(1990) Sil Romance- Ethan Hardman married Arabella Craig. Ethan has Black Hair, Grey Slivery Eyes and is 30. Arabella has long brown Hair and Green eyes and is a concert Pianist and is almost 23. Never read anything else about Ethan and Arabella so don’t know if they ever had children. Storyline: Arabella Craig had been 18 when Ethan Hardeman had opened the door, then slammed it shut just a s fiercely. His subsequent marriage to another woman left her devastated, and Arabella knew shed lost the only man she’d ever love. Now, tragedy brought Ethan back into her life. Ethan, Tall and handsome, divorced and embittered, he ran his empire with an iron hand and a big heart… except when it came to living day to day with him brought back all the passion… and pain. Ethan was so near and yet mentally so far away. But Arabella was determined not to let him escape her again. Connal- (1990) Sil Romance - Connal Tremayne married Pepi Matthews: Connal aka C.C is the Second youngest Tremayne brother. He has 2 older Brothers (Evan & Harden) & one younger Brother (Donald who never had a book). Pepi is described as having Long, wavy light reddish -brown hair. Pale brown eyes, nice figure but a little on the plump side, not overweight but filled out jeans nicely. She is 22. Connal (CC) is described as having Dark hair and Dark Eyes. 30 years old. Connal and Pepi have one son named Jessie Ben Tremayne. Harden- (1991)Sil Romance- Harden Tremayne Married Miranda Warren. Harden is the second Oldest Tremayne brother, His brothers are Evan, (Evan) Donald (never had a book is married to a lady named JoAnn ) And Connal.(Connal) Harden has flinty pale blue eyes and dark hair.. Miranda has Long wavy black hair half way down her back. Eyes the purest Silver. Miranda was a widow and had miscarried her child. At the end of Harden Miranda is expecting. I have never found it mentioned anywhere what the sex of Harden and Miranda’s child was or if they have had more children. Harden is also illigenment Evan- (1991) Evan is the oldest Tremayne brother at age 34. He has 3 brothers, Donald (who did not have a book) Harden (Harden) and Connal (Connal) He Married Anna Cochran at age 19. Ann is described as Blond, buxom and Blue Eyed. Evan is described as having Dark hair and Dark Eyes, 6’4” and about 230lbs. Has a hairy Chest. Ann and Evan were expecting a Baby in Beloved but it has not been told what they had of if they have had any other children Since. *****Tremayne Notes***** There are 4 Tremayne Brother’s listed here according to age: Evan, Harden, Connal & Donald. Donald and JoAnn are the only one’s who never had a book. The Tremayne boy’s mother is named Theodora. Harden was Adopted by Evan, Connal and Donald’s father after Theodora had a affair with Hardens father. We know that all 4 Tremayne Bride’s were expecting baby’s but we have not heard what any of them had other than Connal & Pepi, they had a son named Jessie Ben. Evan and Ann’s First Child should be about the same age as Corrigan and Dorrie Hart’s oldest Child. Donavan (1992) Sil Romance- Donavan ( JD) Langley married Fay York. Fay had long Dark Hair and Green eyes and is 20 years old. Fay goes to work as Calhoun Ballenger’s secretary. JD is very tall, lean & muscular with thick black unruly hair, silver eyes and has a temper that is known locally. He is the general manager of Mesa Blanco. Donavan is into organic cattle Methods. They are raising JD’s nephew Jeff. So Far no children have been mentioned for them. Storyline: From the moment the elegantly dressed society woman walked into the bar on the wrong side of town, rugged Texan, Donovan(JD) Langley knew she was trouble and just the type of woman he’d vowed to avoid. Lovely Fay York awoke a tenderness in him that he’d never known an a desire that couldn’t be denied. The electrifying instant Fay gazed into a pair of glittering silver eyes, she lost her hear forever. But how could she convince the wary rancher that she as an innocent rose….and blossom only for him? The rough and tumble cowboy was determined to keep his distance. Until he made her a proposal that she couldn’t refuse. Emmett (1993) Sil Romance- Emmett Deverell married Melody Cartman. Melody is a tall woman, very country- looking in some ways, with freckles and a softly rounded face that was framed by long, blond-streaked light brown hair. Her eyes were brown with tiny gold flecks in them. She is 20. And is Cousin by Marriage to Logan Deverell (Case of the Missing Secretary) & Christopher Deverell (Love with a LTT) Her brother Randy is married to Emmett’s ex wife. She also has a cat name Alistair. Adell who were expecting a baby. Emmett is Tall with dark hair and green eyes. He is 34years old. He rides in the redo. He is also cousin by Blood to Logan Deverell (Case of the Missing Secretary) and Christopher Deverell (Love with a LTT). Emmett has 3 children by his first marriage to Adell they are Guy, Amy and Polk. Guy , Amy and Polk are very mischievous and have done everything from dying a snake different colors and putting pok a dot’s on it a putting a potato in a tale pipe to trying to take off door knobs while adults are in the bathroom making out with each other. Never has been mentioned if Emmett and Melody have had a child together. It was mentioned in Christopher Deverell’s story that Emmett was now in partnership with Ted Regan in the Ranch Emmett was managing for Ted. Story Line: Single dad Emmett Deverell thought moving to Jacobsville, Texas would mean quality time with his children. The he realized the truth, they were uncontrollable!!!! He knew the three little rapscallions needed a woman’s influence. But the only female available was Melody Cartman… and Emmett trusted her about as far as he could throw her. Melody’s new charges were a force to be reckoned with. But it was their Father who proved a handful. That sexy wink of his eye was enough to send a woman into orbit. She knew Emmett would never Forgive the past, which was definitely a problem. Because being part of Emmett’s family was a habit Melody didn’t want to break. *add on* Emmett has a very weak stomach. Just the thought of blood and gore can make him sick! Regan’s Pride (1994) Sil. Romance- Ted Regan and Coreen Tarleton- Ted is 40. Prematurely Grey (has silver hair).He has the physique of a man half his age, he is slender and strong and has blue eyes. His niece is Nell Jacobs (Tyler) and his Sister is Sandy (A LTT Summer) . Coreen is widowed, She was in abusive marriage to Ted’s cousin Barry. She was still a virgin when she and Ted made love the first time. Coreen is 24 has blue eyes, 5ft 5 in in stocking feet, And has black hair. Ted and Coreen have a son named Pryce and were discussing have more children. Story Line: The Last thing Ted Regan wanted was a love struck filly swooning over him! But Coreen Tarleton had fallen hard for the sexy, Millionaire cowboy. Whenever Coreen was near, he could feel his restraint slipping, yet he couldn’t admit the uncontrollable effect she had on him. Coreen sensed she’d made an impression on Ted’s heart, but he pulled away from her loving arms. Now, Years later, she was no longer the yielding young girl Ted had spurned. A Tangled past threatened to pull these star-crossed lovers apart, but this Texan’s pride would not get in their way again That Burke Man- (1995) Sil Desire- Todd Burke and Jane Parker- Todd has one Daughter named Cherry from his first marriage (Cherry has blond hair and gray eyes, she wants to be a surgeon and is currently a barrel racer) and Jane and Todd were expecting a baby together at the end of Coltrain’s proposal .Todd owns a computer company, had steely gray eyes and fair hair. Jane is a former barrel racing rodeo champion (a car accident killed her father and injured her back and she can’t barrel race anymore) She has her own western clothing line. She is the former girl friend of Copper Coltrain (Coltrain’s Proposal) She is a tall blond with blue eyes. Story Line: Book is where I can’t get to easily but basically, Todd and his daughter Cherry move to Jacobsville so Cherry can be nearer her mother. Cherry loves to barrel Race. Jane is a former Barrel racer that because of a car accident that hurt her back and killed her father can’t barrel race anymore. Todd own’s a computer company & is wealthy but does not let Jane know and he takes over her ranch books to help her get out of the red. Todd and Jane Fall in love but Todd thinks Jane loves Copper. ***Story Line from back of book*** Once-burned Todd Burke had no intention of getting hitched to anyone. Having one temperamental female under his roof was enough. Still, his rodeo-riding daughter was crazy about Jane parker-and secretly, Todd was, too. But no way was this hot-tempered, hot-blooded Wyoming man giving in to the equally hot-tempered, hot-blooded cowgirl from Jacobsville, Te4xas. He’d keep telling himself he didn’t want Jane Parker, no matter how tempting she was. This book was also Sil Desire’s 75th Man of the Month. RED BIRD- (1995)- Silhouette Abduction and Seduction- Hank Shoeman & Poppy O’Brien Story Line: It was a case of mistaken identity when hot-tempered Hank Shoeman abducted Poppy O’Brien . Only, his smitten captive wasn’t exactly clamoring to get out of his clutches! Facts: Hank plays the lead guitar for the band Desperado Amanda Sutton (Sutton’s Way) is the lead singer He is also the former linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys. He is 38 but physically looks no older than 30. He has Dark hair and a full thick beard (which he shaved in the end of the book) and Mustache and blue eyes. Hank is a huge man. 6ft 5in and has 5 brothers bigger than him. Poppy is a brunette , 5ft 5 in , 26 years old. Has dark eyes. And is a Veterinarian. Hank and Poppy were expecting a baby at the end of Redbird. CHRISTMAS COWBOY- (1997) Lone Star Christmas with Joan Johnson- Corrigan Hart & Dorrie Wayne are the hero and heroine. Storyline: Ironheaarted Corrigan hart would never admit how much enticing innocent Dorie Wayne meant to him- until fateful Christmas encounter brought him face to face with his long lost love…. Corrigan has gray eyes and jet black hair, has a limp from a accident. He is the most handsome of his brothers. He has 4 brothers Simon (Beloved), Callaghan (Callaghan’s Bride) Reynard (A Man of Means) & Leopold (Lion Hearted) Dorrie has gray eyes and hair so blond it was almost platinum and a scar on her face. Her father was a minister and her mother a missionary. Corrigan and Dorrie have one son and a baby girl ( no names were given) BELOVED (1999) - Sil Desire- Simon Hart & Tira Beck Story Line: Simon Hart had sworn off romantic entanglements forever. But every man had a weakness and his was the beautiful, beguiling Tira Banks, He angrily labeled the flamboyant socialite a shameless flirt with a cavalier attitude to marriage until he learned she’d secretly saved all her love for him. Against his will, Simon became entranced by her, her every gesture igniting his passion. Still , he knew the virtuous virgin wasn’t about to surrender her nights to him…..unless he became her beloved. FACTS: Simon and Tira have Two Son’s. I have never found names for them. Simon lost his left arm below the elbow in a car accident that killed his first wife. Tira was married to Simon’s best friend who was gay (Simon did not know) and he blamed Tira for his death. ** Simon is the only Hart Brother who is not Biscuit Crazy. He is also the oldest. He is the state Attorney General. His Brothers are Callaghan (Callaghan’s Bride) Corrigan (Christmas Cowboy) Rey (A Man of Means) & Leo (Lionhearted) Simon has wavy black hair and pale gray eyes. Tara is a wealthy divorcee` with red-gold hair and green eyes. Simon and Tara have two Son’s (no names were given) A MAN OF MEAN’S (2002) Sil Desire- Rey Hart & Meredith John’s. Story Line- From the moment powerfully seductive Rey Hart first set eyes on Meredith Johns, he became mesmerized by the lovely young-woman. Not only did Meredith stir his jaded soul with her tempting innocence he discovered she was a top notch biscuit maker, However installing Meredith on the Hart ranch as his coveted cook was a cinch compared to breaking the enchanting spell she cast over the Long Tall Texan’s heart. Now, the hot-tempered cattleman’s play to preserve his bachelorhood was on the verge of backfiring big time because one intoxicating kiss would never be enough to satisfy Rey’s intense desire for his mysterious housemate. Against all odds, could their tenuous union survive his stubborn pride and her perilous past. Notes: Rey & Meredith have one daughter named Celina. Meredith has long blond hair and gray eyes. And is a nurse practitioner. She is also a great shot. Rey is 6 feet tall has dark hair and dark eyes. Meredith’s father Alan has become abusive ( when he drinks )to Meredith after the death of her mother and brother Mike (who was a cop ) who was killed in a bank robbery. Rey and Meredith have a daughter named Celina. CALLAGHAN’S BRIDE ( 1999) Sil Romance- Callaghan Hart & Tess Brady. Story Line: Rugged as an oak, moody as a thundercloud, rancher Callaghan hart awed women and intimidated men. So how could one scrappy little redhead nearly bring Callaghan to his knees? Easy! Tess Brady, the ranch’s new housekeeper, was soft as a kitten. Dewy as springtime. And secretly sweet on big, bad Callaghan. Which drove the hardened loner mad. For Tess’s youthful innocence drew him like forbidden fruit. He wanted to touch her. Taste her. Maker her his…… But no way would Callaghan bed a starry-eyed virgin whose dreams he could never fulfill. No way would he get trapped into marriage. No matter how tempting the bait. Facts: Cag & Tess have one son but were planning on having another child in the near future. No name was given for the son. Cag served in the Green Berets in Desert Storm. He is the second oldest Hart Brother. 38 years old. He has straight black hair, Black Spanish eyes, Big Nose, Big Ears and Big Feet. All his brothers try to step in if Cag get’s angry because of his strength and military training. Tess has red-gold curly hair and pale blue eyes. She can ride like a cowboy , curse in fluent Spanish and shoot like a expert. Cag also has a albino python named Herman. He gave Herman to a friend shortly after marrying Tess. Cag and Tess have one Son but are planning on having another child in the near future; LIONHEARTED - (2002-Sil Romance) Leo Hart & Janie Brewster Story Line: As the holiday season approached, the residents of Jacobsville were whispering about Janie Brewster’s hopeless crush on Leo Hart. Up till now, all her efforts to lasso the dynamic cattleman had crumbled quicker than those mouthwatering biscuits that the Hart men coveted. However this time the starry-eyed debutante had come up with the perfect self-improvement campaign to dazzle Leo--she’d become a courageous cowgirl! Till , her sudden transformation seemed to rouse Leo’s formidable temper more than ever. But wait…..was it hot-blooded hunger--not dark disdain --that gleamed in his eyes when they melted into those smoldering kisses beneath the mistletoe? Could the last Hart bachelor be on the verge of taking Janie as his Bride? Facts: Leo is the youngest Hart brother. He has thick blond streaked light brown hair and black eyes. Out of all the Harts Leo is the tallest and most powerfully built. Janie has long, thick light brown hair and green eyes with a neat little figure. She is 21. And up until just about the end of Lion Hearted her biscuits could be classified as lethal weapons. Leo told Janie near the end of Lion Hearted that he thought he made her pregnant *********NOTE‘S ON THE HART’S ****************** There are 5 Hart Brother’s. They are: Simon -The oldest & State Attorney General Callaghan-the Second Oldest, watched the pig movie and won’t eat pork Corrigan- the third Oldest Leo-The next to the youngest Rey- The youngest All the Hart Brothers are crazy about Biscuits with the exception of Simon. None of them care for Sweets very much. They Own 5 ranches but live in Jacobsville. All of the brothers actually took over their brothers weddings and planned them for them. With Dorrie they kidnapped her and put her in a nap sack and delivered her to Corrigan. Rey & Leo have been know to kidnap cooks to make them biscuits. The Princess Bride (1998) Sil Romance; Kingman Marshall & Tiffany Blair Synopsis : He was everything Tiffany Blair wanted. He was danger, He was love and she was meant to spend forever with him. Trouble was, the almighty Kingman Marshall insisted marriage was for fools. But for better, for worse, Tiffany vowed she’d walk down the aisle as King’s bride. She was young, beautiful and totally off limits. He was too old, too jaded and too burdened with secrets to indulge in fantasies of happily ever after with sheltered virgins. Kings Ranch is called Lariat . King is 34. King & Tiffany are expecting a baby at the end of Princess Bride Matt Caldwell: Texas Tycoon (2000 Sil Spec Edition)- Matt Caldwell and Leslie Murry. Leslie has gray eyes and dyed blond hair she is a natural brunette . She is 23. She was shot as a teenager in the leg by her mother who was on drugs. She was almost raped by her mothers boy friend who her mother shot and Killed. Leslie and Matt are wonderful dancers. Matt’s full name is Mather Gilbert Caldwell. Matt has dark hair and dark eyes. He also fly’s his own plane. Matt and Leslie have a son and a younger daughter (by 3 years) who has Matt’s dark hair and a temper to match his own. Man in Control (2003) Sil Desire: Alex Cobb and Jodie Clayburn Synopsis: Ever since DEA agent Alexander Cobb has given Jodie Clayburn a Texas-size brush-off, they’d been sworn enemies. But eight years later, an undercover operation brought them back together again. His sister Margie call’s him Lex. We first meet Alex in the Winter Soldier. Jodie has long blond hair and gray eyes. Jodie works for Ritter oil (owned by Eugene Ritter, Gabe Ritter’s father Gabe’s story is His Girl Friday) Alex is 33. Has black hair and cold set green eyes. Alex is a senior DEA Agent and is independently wealthy. Colby Lane (from Once in Paris), and Phillip Hunter also show up in this book. We find out that Micca and & Callie Steele( the Last Mercenary) have a baby daughter as well as Phillip and Jennifer Hunter (Hunter) have a daughter and is expecting and Cade and Dannett Ritter have a son and are expecting. No names were given for any of the children. The Mercenary books also tie in with this book . They are Mercenary’s Woman (Eb & Sally Scott), The Winter Soldier (Cy & Lisa Parks) & the Last Mercenary (Micca & Callie Steele) Founding Father (2003 Historical Romance)- This is the prequel to the LTT Series. It is about Big John Jacobs and Camellia Ellen Colby. John attracted a railroad line to his small ranching property with the help of a gutsy young debutante who preferred John and cold beans to a titled European and caviar: Camellia Ellen is a fiercely independent young woman who flowers when given a chance to escape the rigorous, correct society of her time. She and John begin as enemies but become husband and wife, and spend many happy years together. There were movie stars, well know politicians, singers. Some men in Dark suits and other rough looking men who kept watching the men in suits.
