But mainly is about Cy Parks and Lisa Monroe and how the two fell in love. It started out as good intentions on Cy's part i.e helping Liza with a ranch she had trouble running and was in foreclosure. It also mentions the Lopez Drug Cartel and the drug trafficking in the small town of Jacobsville. I enjoyed it although it was a bit too short for me. But never the less it answered my question about Harley Fowler and also what exactly happened to Cy's arm. Other stories pretaining to this book are the soldier of fortune series that mentions Diego Laremos, JD Brettman and others. Diana painted a new picture for me in The Winter Soldier. I'm glad he and Lisa found each other. As for the Merc books...This one is #3 for me.
