"need help with the title and author"

I read this book a looong time ago so I am not very clear on the details. It is not a Diana Palmer book.

This is a historical romance novel. The heroine's name is Jenny (I think). She is kidnapped by a gang (a Mexican gang, I think). One of the guys who kidnaps her turns out to be the hero. He is posing as a bad guy to rescue his grandfather who has also been kidnapped by the same gang who kidnaps Jenny. I think the hero had the nickname El Cazador, or something like that. Jenny and the hero fall in love.

I hope someone is able to help me with this. Like I said, it has been years since I read this book and I would really like to re-read it but from what little I remember I have not been able to find it. Please, someone tell me the title and the author!!!!

I await anyones response with much anticipation,
Angela

The only one I could come up with is Touch the Wind by Janet Dailey published in Feb. 1979. From what I remember there's no grandfather, but the band of kidnappers are Mexicans with a very charismatic leader (of course) but I found the ending weird if not upsetting. Michèle F.

   Thanks, Michele.
I looked up the book you suggested but that was not it.

Could it have been Sweet Savage Love, by Rosemary Rogers? Ginny was the girls name and the hero as Steve and/or Estaban.
