"Do You Like Linda Lael Miller books?"
Just read A STONECREEK CHRISTMAS....bought at Walgrens on the spur of the moment...haven't read any of Linda Lael Miller's books in a long time, even though I have oodles of her prev. books.
It was really good....the main character Olivia O'Ballivan is a Veternarian and she has the ability to talk to animals and they talk back to her and she understands. Some other wonderful characters in the book too. Unexpected romance for Olivia too!
If you come across a used copy grab it...at first I didn't think I would like it...then when I finished reading it...I thought what took me so long!

I have quite a few of her older books but have not bought any of her more recent releases.
This sounds like a good book. I will keep my eyes open for it. Sharon Sala has a couple of books where the hero can communicate and heal animals and I enjoyed those books.Alert | IP Printer-friendly page | Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

I did not realize it but I had Stone Creek Christmas in my TBR pile. A friend sent me the book. I read it last night and really enjoyed it. Now I want to go back and get Meg and Brad's story(The McKettrick Way). There was also a nice set up for a possible future book about Ashley and Jack Alert | IP Printer-friendly page | Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

I love her books. My favorite of hers is "McKettrick's Heart", but I like them all. I'm reading the first book of the Montana Creed's series now about Logan. Carla

Carolyn1 I have Linda's books and they are good. I have almost all her books. I think if I had to choose another of author to read she is the one. But I won't trade any of my DP books for Linda's.

Can you compare her to anyone else? I mean, I like Catherine Anderson but sometimes she takes a long time to get to the point. (My favorite of hers was about Rachel. I thinks it's called Bright Eyes).
Is Linda like Diana? Catherine? or Lori Foster and puts it out there? This Creed series sound good.

If you have read the older Linda Howard books her writing reminds me of her or maybe Elizabeth Lowell's. A little Like Diana and a Little Like Catherine Anderson. I think you would enjoy the series Alert | IP Printer-friendly page | Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

I had read some of her contemporary novels, then discovered the McKettrick series and got hooked. Just finised A Wanted Man and it was great. I went by the UBS Sunday and got the earlier books of the series. The Springwater series looks very interesting. Michèle F. Alert | IP Printer-friendly page | Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

I am half way through Logan. With DP books I run through them so fast I have to sit back down and re-read what I've just read. But I'm not doing that with this book. I'm enjoying it, don't get me wrong, but maybe it's because she's a new author to me. The story is very good so far. (The ex just arrived in town) Mimi
