Heroine is on a horse.... see's hero in the arms of another woman and so she rides off.... the horse heads for a fence (I think), but as it jumps they are hit by a truck ... she's unconcious and banged up pretty badly.... the horse doesn't make it. "RE: Which book pleeeease" In response to message #1   In Dream's End Eleanor did have a horse accident and she called for Jim who is a friend and not the hero. But they didn't run into traffic. The horse stepped in a gopher hole. The scene where the horse dies is in Now and Forever when Tish realizes she is in love with Russell.
