I can "translate" ounce and pound, but how much is a cup? Is it a standard measure, or do I use any size cup? The recipe could end up as a soup or porridge depending on the size of the cup used. "RE: Measures" In response to message #0   I found a converter on the internet, so I think I'm ready to start cooking now Wouldn't standard worldwide measurements be nice sometimes (sigh)?
