"Copy of Diana's Spring-Summer newsletter"
Here is a copy of Diana's spring-summer newsletter for those of you who has not received a copy thru email Diana Palmer Newsletter
Spring-Summer 2008Hi, guys! It's Spring, and we have blooming things everywhere. It's been a long time since I've done a newsletter, so I thought I'd try to catch you up on what's gong on with me.
Healthwise, I haven't been too good. I was unable to tolerate the shot for rheumatoid arthritis, so I'm back to the old drugs. I have good and bad days -- really bad ones in the winter, so I'm looking forward to warm weather. I have terrific doctors, and new drugs are coming on the market all the time.
As you know, my ancient science fiction epic, THE MORCAI BATTALTION, was back in print with added chapters in December of 2007. It got nice reviews from Starlog Magazine (I'm one of their most loyal readers, and it was such a thrill that they chose my book to review) and Romantic Times BOOKreviews. I'm hard at work on the second book in the trilogy: THE MORCAI BATTALION: The Recruit. I've tried over the years to scribble some rough ideas of what I think my characters look like. The result is on this page.
I have several new books in the works. I'm doing a Silhouette Special Edition called HEART OF STONE, set in a new Jacobs County, Texas town called Comanche Wells. It features new characters. I'm also working on a Christmas story for inclusion in a Harlequin collection this holiday season entitled The Silent Night Man -- it features Tony Danzetta, whom you met in IRON COWBOY, my Spring Silhouette Desire. I am starting to get some ideas on paper for next year's hardcover, which will definitely be set in Jacobsville, but I haven't decided between three characters to feature in it. More about this later.
Some of you know that my 14-year-old malamute/german shepherd mix Moose died last year. In November, we adopted a two month old purebred German Shepherd named Wolf. We call him Woof-Woof, however, because he has the sweetest nature of any dog we've ever shared our lives with. Next newsletter, I'll try to include a photo -- he's hard to capture because he's mostly a black and tan blur! Great company, since our son and lovely daughter-in-law have moved to Tennessee; we really miss them, but are happy that they're doing to well.
I hope that you all have a lovely Spring and Summer! I'm not going to RWA this year in San Francisco -- I'm really sorry, but my health simply will not allow it. I might make it to next year's conference, though. More about that later, too!
Love to all,
Diana

Diana, You are my favorite author. I make sure I purchase your books before any others. I do hope and pray that you feel better. I have RA, fibromyalgia and OA along with several other diseases. I like using your books to dissappear for a while to where there are happy endings. Thanks for all the enjoyment you bring.

I start reading your boos in Spanish. I love them so much I start looking for more. The first one I read in English was Renegade. Then I was like a addiction I have to read them all. At first it was difficult my English was bad (Now is a little bet less bad) I have to read with a dictionary buy my side. All the books I bought in Spanish I buy them in English. Dian Hope You are feeling better bay the day. We (all your fan) need you because we needed a friend. ![]()

Amazon says it should be available Sept. 29. It will be a 2in1 called The Winter Man featuring Silent Night Man and Sutton's Way. You can pre-order it now. I don't know if eharlequin will be faster or not.
