"Carrera's Bride"

   Hello Everyone,

Carrera's Bride is one of my favorite books of DP's so far... I've re-read it 5 times so far in less than a year. I was just wondering, if any of you have also wondered why does this book fall under the LTT series when Marcus Carrera is originally from Chicago? He may be long and tall and extremely sexy, but he sure isn't a Texan. Delia is a texan and from Jacobsville, and Marcus knows Cash Grier and supposedly helped the chief rescue Tippy - I say supposedly due to the reference in this book because I haven't read Cash's and Tippy's story, yet - and also, Marcus is trying to fight against drug trafficking and money laundering, so I'm guessing this are the connections to the LTT series.

Any of you thought about this before? What are your opinions on this subject? Maybe some of you have insider info that I don't.

Happy readings...

I just thought that it was because she lived in Jacobsville and the story does take place in J-ville for a little bit.

I think because Marcus was in Renegade, telling Cash that the man who hurt Tippy used to work for him. And Delia lived in Jacobsville, so that's why I think it was a LTT book.

And also, because tha drug cartell that was responsible for killing Marcus's brother was also responsible for setting up the operation in Jacobsville that was mentioned in The Winter Soldier, The Last Mercenary, Fearless, Heartless and other Long, Tall Texas books. So I suppose it really does belong with all the other LLT's novels. Hope that helps.
