"Barbara from the Cafe"

Was anyone else surprised at how young Barbara was (Hearless, mentioned she was 38).... I thought she adopted Ric Martinez? Or did I misread it???? XX

YES!!! From the other novels where she is mentioned, I figured her to be in her mid to late 40's at the earliest. She did adopt Rick...but, I still think she is older than what the book mentioned...and in my 'widdle' mind, I am making her older. LOL

   Hi,
I read the book also. I think if I got it right, Barbara is older around 45 . I can't wait to read Rick's story. This will be a good book. I love his character. Also I would like to see Jon Blackhawk getting his story. I have started a collection of the Jacobsville series. I even told my daughter go get me some for Christmas.

Jon is getting his book right after Kilraven. Harley's story continues with Kilraven's story and ends with Jon something to do with a family mystery. I think it has something to do with Kilraven's family that was murdered. In Fearless he said he had lost a child and in another book it said he was first on the scene for a family murder that still haunted.

I'm a little confused myself. But I believe the other's are correct, she's in her mid to late forties.
