"Books made into movies?"
I just read that Diamond Girl was made into a movie. I was wondering if any other Diana Palmer's books have also been made into movies? Thanks. Alert | IP Printer-friendly page | Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

That's the only one. Apparently she was so disappointed in how they adapted it - not very close to the original story.
I don't mind the movie if you look at it as a romantic story set in the Napa valley. Don't compare it to Diamond girl the book - the only similarity is 2 brothers and their secretary.Efy

Thanks for letting me know. I have Diamond Girl in my TBR pile and will read it before watching the movie. I remember watching Loving Evangeline years ago and being irritated that they did not follow the book by Linda Howard. Wonder why directors/movie writers do not follow the original books? Oh, well. I hate when they turn a book into a movie and it does not follow the book. It is so irritating when you are sitting there going "Ummm..That did not happen in the book." It is like there is so much missing.

I have Diamond Girl movie...believe me it is awful but really awful... I am not surprised Diana was disappointed by it.. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning dancing in the rain.
