LOVE them, I live in texas,but yet i still I dream about Texas....(a little place called Jacobsville). The State of Texas is my favorite state of all the places I've visited. Too bad Jacobsville is just a mythical town . But the palce and it's citizens will live in our hearts and mind forever!!! In response to message #6   Yes, I love Ms Palmer's books & the men are yummy but I can never live any where but the San Francisco bay area. Never too hot or too cold, very little rain, no snow to speak of and of we get it it's a light dusting once every ten years or so. If it's too hot the bay breeze comes up at night and cools it down. But you're within driving distance to the snow country, wine country, Yosemite and beaches. Plus we're spoiled the all the entertainment around here Music, plays, zoo and amusment parks.
