Is it Simon and Tara from Beloved? I can't remember if Simon was a widower or not. I have not read his book in a few years.

It's got to be Cy Parks and Lisa Monroe in Winter Soldier in response to PeggyReiger's who are we? Sorry I didn't read the next set of clues. There is more than one that fits this. I'll have to think harder.

THat could work but technically she had not moved yet. She was trying to decide what to do when she and Tate got togerther. But that is the only one I can think of that a woman has a son except for True Colors with Meredith Ashe and Cy Harden?

I think Mimi is probably right. Tate was not experienced and other than Jobe Dobb and Tom Walker who were not widowers I can't think of anyone else it could be
