"Hi everyone I am new here :)"

I am looking forward to knowing more about Diana and am planning on doing some book reviews. I have heard a lot about her books in the past, but was so busy raising my family I couldn't read as much as I want. I work at Lazboy now and have lots and lots of time to read and on my days off I spend blogging since my family is pretty much grown. All that said, I am really looking forward to reading all of Diana's books. Please tell me some of your favorites so I can read these. I am a very fast reader...I have about 12 hours a day to read believe it or not, so that helps me to get a lot of reading in. I used to pray for a life like this so this is a dream come true. Please tell me your favorites and why.

I love to read!

You may want to start with the non series books like Fire and Ice (my favorite) or Now and Forever or After The Music.
Also very good are the Merceneries books (Soldiers of Fortune) and the Most Wanted miniseries(The Case of ... books).
If you read the LTT books it may be good to read them in reading order although many of them can be read as stand-alone.

Welcome Ruthie! My very first Diana Palmer was Lawless. I was hooked and couldn't get enough of her stories. I didn't read her books in order. I read them as I found them and then would go back a re-read the ones I had. Now I get in to mood for one of her stories I grab a series and get started all over again!

Welcome Ruthie!

I can say I like - love- enjoy...95% of Diana's books. Yes...there are a couple in which I am not fond (gasp...shock). I like how she writes the characters...and you began to empathize with them...and usually...there is always a sense of humor in her stories. Along, with the fact...there is happy ending finally. And with today's world at times, we all need to fall in love and have a happy ending...even if it is only in a book.

Do I have just a single favorite...nope. There are so many that fit the mood I am I might be experiencing...that in the end...I enjoy them all...well, except a couple.

Regan's Pride makes me sappy....the Hart boys have me in stitches...Emmett and his kids make you wonder if the state of Texas is safe...Coltrain's Proposal makes me wish I had a doctor as good-looking as him....and the list goes on.

Enjoy losing yourself in Diana's world!!!

Jody

welcome to the board Ruthie. All DP books are generally good but the Long Tall Texans are the best. My first DP book was paper rose- i was hooked and i've got all DP books now. Enjoy.
